May 6, Tuesday (May, 2025)
- Watched Saturday Night and then Wolfs during flight before getting some sleep
- Our business class flight isn’t good enough for business lounge – Miriam uses one of her lounge vouchers on me for the silver lounge – gets us food and a quiet place to rest
- Second leg to Berlin starts with sleep in a full flat bed – then watch Fly me to the Moon while eating breakfast
- Pilot announces that it’s 2°C which is shocking for May but also coming from KL – it’ll warm up later in the day
- First off the plane and first through immigration – use Polish passport – luggage isn’t first but didn’t have to wait too long – saw others still waiting for an hour – but that’s because three of our suitcases are broken and Miriam submits a claim
- Parents pick us up in the caravan – stuff all the luggage in and sit at kitchen table on the ride to Kuhberge
- Unpack some of the luggage and have a small second breakfast
- Take a nap while Miriam unpacks more
- Go with Miri (and Moni) to her registration appointment and some grocery shopping
- Write to Igor who referred me but then I got rejected right away – seems like a sign that my resume still sucks really bad
- Help grill dinner, specifically the veggies, something haven’t done in years
- Neighbor Doreen stops by while we eat dessert – the headphones I ordered are delivered – great noise cancelation
- Research options for what us phone network to sign up for and buy sim online to be delivered to parents
