May 15, Thursday (May, 2025)
- Once I wake up, drive parents car to charge my rental car and then parents car back home
- Do laundry and start packing
- Have my father take me to the charging car
- Drive to NYC – listen to music along the way and get frustrated with drivers – the Fischers land before I’m even close
- Pick up the Fischers and squeeze in all the luggage that barely fits – drive through traffic for an hour to Harlem
- Check in and rush out to charging station – struggle to find the first place, second place is parking garage that seems a little expensive but not too bad
- Walk back and get falafel along the way
- Settle in for a bit then take a walk along the riverside and basically where we just drove to charge the car
- Pick up pizza on the way back and eat in the apartment
- Everyone goes to bed early – I go to get the car – it’s twice the amount of what was quoted but they don’t seem to care about addressing that
- Drive to JFK to return car and also have to pay for the extra charge amount missing – which was actually cheaper than the garage
- Uber back using Miri’s phone/account
