- Slept in a little and then go for a run – managed 6.5km but needed water badly at the end
- Do some soil testing – first do a few samples of the low ph in the lawn but also in one of my mother’s pots – later also test for nitrogen and potash
- Eat the last of the leftover Hanger chicken
- When my dad gets home we finish cleaning the last of the gutters
- Call with Miriam for a while
- Shower and shave and then go to Moan and Dove to meet Johnny – also meet his British friend Der, who buys me a drink at the end
- My parents were eating outside but then go inside as the bugs come out
- Research a bit about smoking meat – hope to get everything sorted out for Sunday
- Sit out in the driveway waiting for the “strawberry moon” to rise – read my Kindle in the dark with fireflies around
