- Awake early and breakfast in cozy Airbnb is cozy
- Drive the long way to the Canadian border – along the way call my dad for the number to activate new debit card – also stop in rural Maine petrol station to eat our leftover lunch
- At the border we park at coffee shop and walk to the bridge – Miriam waits behind – Canadians confirm that I’m still not allowed but give advice on how to proceed – back at American side they ask about Miriam sitting by the tree, which leads to a long discussion about our situation – Miriam later is upset with me for discussing her – get tea from the coffee shop guy and use internet to move money in the account
- Stop in Lubec to see farthest east lighthouse in the US
- Go to Acadia national park at Schoodic – buy annual pass – drive around taking photos and enjoying scenery
- Get dinner in Belfast at fish restaurant at the harbor – opt not for the nice expensive dish but multiple smaller dishes – I get ice cream but Miriam is now counting calories so skips
- Drive back as it gets dark and fog really makes it tough to see anything
