- Stay in bed together
- Breakfast together
- Drive to Plum Island and walk the boardwalk loop – kind of short and easy
- Drive to Ipswitch – there’s a Polish festival going on but entry is $5/person, so we go to town and split a sandwich for that price – and find a box of free cookies
- Go to the Crane Estate but entry is $10/person, so cancel that idea
- Go to Gloucester and try to visit a lighthouse but parking is for residents and seems to be not open to public area – try for ice cream but seems to be closed for the season
- Drive to Manchester By the Sea – find parking and ice cream
- Drive back on the motorway, Miriam naps
- Apply for more jobs
- Make dinner with tuna wraps and roasted chickpeas
- Read some Bill Bryson before bed – also a short call with my mother
