Oct 25, Saturday (October, 2025)
- First morning in Annapolis that we spent the time in bed together
- Breakfast together
- Antoinette disappeared from her usual hiding place – found her in the broom closet when getting the swiffer to clean under the sink
- Go to Aldi and Whole Foods for some groceries
- Eat sandwich for lunch
- Drive to Baltimore and listen to new audio book along the way – Devil in the White City
- Go to Patterson Park where Miriam has a tip on a lantern festival – first place seemed to have been a dog festival and is over, then on the far other side of the park we find it, but the fun stuff only happens in two hours
- Drive over to Hamden neighborhood – Miriam finds a place for bathroom but we just leave and drive back downtown – get ice cream in an old market hall – walk around the sketchy downtown streets
- Go back to the park and the parade hasn’t started yet, so walk back to hot dog bar for dinner – then back again for the parade – some good self made lanterns and costumes and marching bands
- Drive back to the house listening to the audio book but then abandon it based on Miri’s dislike
