- Breakfast together
- Drive to DC listening to Pillars of the Earth – getting past the point where I’m now annoyed by the characters behaving out of character
- Visit Thomas Jefferson Memorial – I parked the truck and walked back – while looking for Miri I trip on the steps – had a moment while falling that I tasted concrete/blood, but caught myself easily
- Visit the Abraham Lincoln Memorial – eat our packed sandwiches along the reflection pool – bold squirrel comes up to us expecting our food
- Drive around the White House a few times looking for the ballroom construction and not finding it
- Visit the National History Museum – then visit the Air and Space Museum
- Move the truck and then meet Charlotte at Rice Bowl restaurant – stay there catching up until they close and move to another bar for a drink before leaving
