May 23, Friday (May, 2025)
- Breakfast with the Fischers – which they woke us up by getting ready but then didn’t come downstairs to breakfast until everything was ready
- Pack up and check out – I’m still annoyed with things, so whatever depression I was feeling last night is still there today
- Stop by my parents to drop off stuff that Miriam brought to move to the US with
- Grocery shopping and then turnpike to Cape Cod – thick traffic but very smooth speeds all the way there considering the long weekend
- Check in to the house – would have been nice if my parents joined
- Drive to the Nauset lighthouse – walk along the beach a bit – spot a seal playing in the water
- Stop to pick up wine on the way back – they’re doing a tasting – also buy a wine with cranberry
- Dinner at seafood restaurant – splurge a little since we still have cash from the New York stay, get a lobster roll
- Stop for ice cream before sitting back in the Airbnb drinking wine
