- Pack up and check out
- Drive through New Jersey and New York back towns and into the city – through the Holland tunnel and Manhattan to eventually arrive in Coney Island
- Hot dogs from Nathan’s – walk on the boardwalk a bit
- Get petrol on the way to return the rental car
- Say goodbye to the Fischers
- Ridiculous long queue for picking up the next rental car – more than an hour to eventually get my car and no internet during the process
- Car doesn’t have navigation – speakers are on full volume once I connect the Bluetooth
- Rush hour traffic leaving New York – trip is minimum four hours – stop in upstate for slice of pizza – learn about a shooting in shopping mall in CT that I’ll drive by
- Arrive at parents after dark – sit on sofa and come down – call boost support to request a new sim card, which took a few calls to accomplish
