- Wake up from my alarm because Miri’s phone died
- Go down to hotel buffet breakfast and make a waffle – chat with some of the Christian conference folk
- Back to bed together before packing and checking out
- Drive up and across to Vermont – stop for photo shoot at NY border – stop along the way at three different post offices – finally get one that is open and has stamps and manage to insult Miriam
- Sugar shack for a stack of pancakes and maple syrup – drive across Killington – stop in Weston and check out their general store that is famous
- Check into hotel in Newfane – stick with annex since old house is downgrade and doesn’t have steam sauna – across the street is cool shop with fun stuff
- Turkey dinner with cranberry sauce, potatoes, and an apple turnover and pumpkin cream cheese dessert
- Finish our anniversary wine and take the steam sauna which is intense
