Dec 24, Wednesday (December, 2025)
- Morning walk with the dogs – cold, but know that it’ll be colder tomorrow
- Breakfast together but Moni rushes out to the stores before they close
- Try to start registering Sweden but Miri wants to wait which leads to deeper argument of her uncertainties and wishes for Christmas to be special and not bureaucratic
- Watch arsenal replay and then Sweden documentary about celebrating Christmas in the north
- Cake and coffee and taste test egg nog
- Go to the neighboring village for Christmas pageant – Moni is the narrator – there’s sing alnog but the live music isn’t sing along – glühwein at the end but I definitely don’t know anyone so mostly just awkward
- Traditional potato salad and sausage for dinner
- Gift exchange – there was a little drama that the tree leaked on some presents including the computer to Miri – parents and uncle Bob gifts blend in as secret santa got lost along the way
- Watch National Lampoon’s Christmas and drink egg nog
- Then watch the baby videos I edited two years ago followed by us video from 2018
