- Fun in bed before mediocre hotel breakfast buffet – then pack up and check out
- Take truck to manual car wash and then get gas
- Park at McAfee Knob trailhead and hike in on the AT together – took a while before Miriam started getting angry – get our photo together on the rock and walk back – use the fire road and Miriam still struggles at the end
- Listen to Pillars of the Earth while switching to the Blue Ridge Parkway for a while – then to main roads to try to get to brewery before dark – failed that
- I spill Miriam’s purse while looking for the jacket, that I seemed to have left at Ben and Mandy’s, and she yells at me – then people annoy me and it’s loud and I’m just hungry – waitress makes me order something else that in the end I don’t like but I’m starving – she also failed to be available for giving Miri mayo so I under tip her, adding to my anger
- Listening to the book on the drive in the dark to hotel hoping to remove my anger but it doesn’t
- Hotel is not so great – Miri says “dungeon” when the lady explains where our room is and she says “we prefer lower level”
