Hotel breakfast buffet and pack up and leave the dungeon room – truck doesn’t want to start up which is worrying, but get it running
Drive through Waynesboro and into Shenandoah – Skyline Drive goes in and out of the AT path
All the waysides are closed for the season, so no blackberry shakes, but Skyland is open still and has the blackberry ice cream pie, so we get lunch there
Try to walk a stretch of AT but it’s cold and windy and Miriam gets scared
Once out of the park drive to DC and go to REI where Miri finds a raincoat and we use our credits for it
Drive to Annapolis still listening to Pillars of the Earth all day
Laura made cookies and is making dinner for us
Watch some Jimmy Kimmel then in bed watch so Daily Show before bed
