- Breakfast together with last smoothies with parents
- Snow starts falling
- Repack suitcases and find that there’ll all just a little bit too heavy
- Snow is now quite heavy and need to shovel to get the bags into the car
- Final adjustments before leaving parents – Miri makes us lunch
- Another round of shoveling to get the car out – drive really snowy roads to the train station in Springfield – my dad drops us off and he drives home alone
- Train ride to New York – then go through Penn Station to take the subway to the Bronx – really warm and not enough space for luggage and sitting – order xl uber to bring us the last bit
- Nice Airbnb host let’s us in and helps carry the luggage in
- Go to cafe around the corner with good cobb salad but mediocre margherita
- Try a few small grocery stores to get what we need for breakfast
