- Simple breakfast in our Airbnb
- Walk around trying to find a bus to the zoo – wait for one then switch to the first that we then change – while transferring I step in shit – woman across the street was pointing trying to get my attention but I blatantly stood in it – there was a car wash and I got the guy’s to help spray it off my new shoes
- Bronx Zoo is free because Miri got us tickets – but the jungle house is an add on – we walk around and find that most of the animals are already put away for the winter – snow leopard is out, and red panda – one of tigers are active – the seals are swimming – gorillas are gone
- Take subway all the way down to Coney Island – get hot dogs at Nathan’s
- Miriam also arranged for free tickets to the aquarium – they put on a simple show with sea lions – spot some of our regulars when diving
- Take train back up to the Bronx – I tried optimizing the route but didn’t really help any
- Get pizza at little shop in the Bronx
- Walk over to a bigger grocery store for some extras
- Bus back to our neighborhood and get carrot cake at same cafe as last night
- Watch the tv show for the Rockefeller tree lighting on the computer
