Jul 19, Saturday (July, 2025)
- Get up and take the truck to the mechanic – Corey rides his kid’s bike over and we walk through the downtown Franklin
- Mechanic calls for us to come look at the truck – see the front wheel is about to fall off – the exhaust leak is seen, and the rattling heat shield – the rear tire is leaking oil too – lots of rust – get the wheel bearing fixed and leave the others to a future date
- Breakfast at cafe – Corey’s first time eating out for breakfast here
- Find an old Mac computer sitting around – decide to carry it back – at the very least sell it off
- Sit inside on camp chairs – I work on the Fire tablet trying to install my app – neighbors are setting up for birthday party and try to hide away from the socializing
- Get call the mechanic is done – walk over and get it
- Drive to parents – the truck felt great at first but then the shaking after a bump got real scary – thankfully traffic slowed us down for most of the way
- Parents have prepped some of the stuff to give us – go around the house looking for more
- Take trip to the grocery store for dinner supplements – then eat grilled chicken, corn on the cob, and salad, with ice cream dessert
- While at the grocery store my dad packed everything onto the red truck and we drive that back to Corey’s – unload and then go to bed
